For Business
How to check a blog, ad, or email before you publish
Check the draft the way an editor would. The score shows where the voice slips. A person still approves the piece.
A blog post, a landing page, and a customer email should sound like your company. A scan will not judge the strategy. It will show which passages read like generic generated prose, so an editor can fix them before the piece ships.
Use Certaffy for Work for this. It is a separate workspace from education, so client copy never sits in the same history as student essays.
What to scan
Scan the version you are about to approve, not an early dump of notes.
- Blog or article: the full draft, including the introduction and the closing. Those are the sections most likely to sound interchangeable.
- Ad or landing page: headline, subhead, and body. Short lines give a weaker signal, so read the highlights even when the overall score is modest.
- Email: subject and body. A template your team reuses can look unusual for reasons that have nothing to do with authorship. Compare it with the last email that performed well.
Paste the text, or upload PDF, DOCX, or TXT. Without an account, the public checker allows 3 score summaries a day, up to 2,000 words. A free account includes 3 full highlighted reports, then 1 score-only scan a day up to 800 words.
How to read the result
- 0–29% — low signal. Still edit for facts, claims, and brand voice.
- 30–74% — open the highlights. Rewrite the passages that could belong to any company.
- 75% or higher — elevated signal. Treat the draft as unfinished until a person has rewritten the flagged sections in your voice.
A highlight is not a demand to delete the paragraph. It is a demand to check it. Product names, legal lines, and boilerplate often get marked because they are repetitive. Keep them when they are supposed to be repetitive. Rewrite them when they are supposed to be yours.
Facts, prices, and quotations are a separate check. A fluent paragraph can still be wrong. The scan does not verify sources.
Keep the approved version
Business is $15 per seat a month, or $120 per seat a year. Each seat includes unlimited full scans and a compliance-ready PDF export. Save the PDF with the version you published. When someone asks what was reviewed, you have the passages and the date, not a screenshot of a percentage.
Invite teammates by email, one person per seat, and keep the review in the business workspace. Education accounts stay on Certaffy for Education. Plans for both are on pricing.
Before you hit publish
- The highlights you cared about are rewritten or intentionally kept.
- Claims, numbers, and names were checked by a person.
- The PDF matches the final text.
- Disclosure, if your brand uses AI assistance, matches what actually happened in the draft.
That is an editorial check. The score just tells you where to start.
